The foundation of the university structure, which includes upper and underground parts in complex soil

The challenge:

The foundation of the structure, which includes 3 underground floors, in a challenging soil that includes a layer of clay mixed with metal oxides.

The solution:

Performing soil replacement to allow shallow foundation. The replacement of the soil was carried out using local clean sand from the surface.
